My first thought in encountering this article was, I wouldn't assign The Iliad to middle-schoolers. But the rest of my thoughts, on reading, were to be impressed over how successful this text and time turned out to be via the data visualization process. That there are so many ways for students to be involved--and to work with each other. Thanks so much for sharing the device as well as your class's story.
